Our commitment
Rigour, exacting standards, and the constant pursuit of the highest level of safety.

Our motto, ENABLING MINERAL SUSTAINABILITY, is the very symbol of industrial explosives, which demand rigour, exacting standards and the constant pursuit of the highest level of quality and safety. That mindset has driven EPC Groupe for 132 years, across all our activities.

Our sites
Our footprint in Senegal.
Advanced technology serving mining operations in Africa. Our teams are based as close as possible to the operations they serve, from the coast to Eastern Senegal.

What we do
A blast is designed before it is fired.
Three complementary activities, a single chain of responsibility: from supplying the explosive to firing, one contact answers for performance and for compliance alike.

Explosives
Fast, secure distribution of industrial explosives from modern, compliant storage facilities, with traceability of every unit.
- Cartridged emulsions
- ANFO and bulk

Drilling and blasting
From blast design to firing, taking in the expected fragmentation size distribution and the ground vibration and flyrock constraints specific to your site.
- Drill rig fleet matched to the deposit
- Blast design
- Ground vibration measurement and blast analysis

Initiation
Controlled timing and firing. The choice of detonators and delays governs the fragmentation obtained as much as the charge itself.
- Detonators and delay connectors
- Echelon initiation
- Certified shotfirers
Sustainability and QHSE
On an explosives site, rigour is not a sales argument.
We operate within a regulated framework that governs every step, from the purchase authorisation to the destruction of surplus explosives. That framework shapes our organisation, not only our procedures.
Blasting crew certification
Our site managers hold the Certificat de Préposé au Tir (shotfirer's certificate), which attests to their ability to handle explosives.
Compliant magazines
Modern storage facilities, declared and inspected, sized for the volumes and product classes we distribute.
End-to-end traceability
Every cartridge and every detonator is tracked from reception at the magazine through to use at the bench face.
Continuing training for blasting crews
Our teams keep their skills current through specialised training, built on the methods of EPC Groupe.
